I've recently discovered Alone on the History Channel. which is a pretty intense survival show. I think the real interest lies in the mental impact that isolation has on the participants, more so than sheer survival skills. I've just made it through season one and am about to start season two. If you were a boy scout like me, or you're just into the whole outdoors / camping / survival thing, check it out!

With the launch of Ghosts of Tsushima, not only have we been fighting over the lone Playstation in our home, but we've also been getting our own home-brewed education on all things Samurai. Most, if not all of that schooling is coming from the legendary Akira Kurosawa. We started with the King Lear-inspired Ran and then jumped to Kagemusha. So... two down and only 28 more to go! I think we'll need more sake.

I am currently spacing out to the New York Times Podcast "The Daily." It's a daily news podcast and radio show that addresses any and all topics pertaining to our nation's current events. It's relevant, informative, plus the host's voice is soothing!
