Check out our staff picks, tips and obsessions in this month’s edition of “What We’re Spacing Out to.”
I've been learning Elementor! We're always evaluating third-party tools and partnerships that help keep things running super smooth for our clients. Our partnership with Elementor provides us with a powerful theming framework that streamlines the design and development stages of Wordpress and WooCommerce projects. While our team is well versed in Elementor, yours truly needed a little Elementor 102. What better time to learn something new than winter in Colorado!
My true crime obsession is still going strong this month. But rather than geek out over otherwise unknown criminals, I've enjoyed learning about the very bad behavior of very famous musicians on the podcast, Disgraceland. Part true story, part transgressive fiction, Disgraceland is fun and entertaining look into the dubious activities that musicians get away with, and that make us love them even more.
After giving up on some classics I'd never read, it was clearly time for a change of literary pace. The only book I've ever pre-ordered arrived and if the title doesn't sell you, then we probably wouldn't get along. Do You Mind If I Cancel?: (Things That Still Annoy Me) by Gary Janetti is a deeply relatable, insanely funny, whip smart collection of memoirs. Think David Sedaris with ten times the sass.
I'm currently spacing out to Ali Wong's audiobook, Dear Girls. She narrates it and it's HILARIOUS.
I read that the way you spend the first three hours of your day, sets the tone for the rest of the day. So, I've been starting my day by reading Mark Nepo's The Book of Awakening. It's full of beautifully written daily meditations.
